On May 10, 2019 at approximately 1:35 p.m., Deputy Brett Brasher conducted a traffic stop in the area of Scott Avenue and 8th Street.  The 29 year old driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  She is being charged with Driving While Intoxicated 2nd Offense, a Class A Misdemeanor. 

On May 10, 2019 at approximately 9:16 p.m., Deputy Daniel Jacobson, responded to the 900 block of 7th Street in reference to an intoxicated subject.  Upon arrival, a 54 year old female was placed under arrest and charged with Public Intoxication. 

On May 10, 2019 at approximately 6:25 p.m., Deputy Hunter Deason was dispatched to the 4800 block of Johnson Road in reference to a burglary.  Upon arrival, the reporting party stated they witnessed two unknown males removing property from the residences.  A white refrigerator and a white oven were missing from the property.  A report was taken and the investigation is ongoing. 

On May 12, 2019 at approximately 5:48 p.m., Deputy Eric Jerrols conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of Brook Avenue.  The 56 year old female driver and 66 year old male passenger were placed under arrest and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  The driver is being charged with Possession of Marijuana Less than 2 oz. a Class B Misdemeanor, and the passenger is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in PG less than 1 gram, a State Jail Felony. 

On May 11, 2019 at approximately 3:02 p.m., Deputies responded to the 5100 block of Old Friberg Road in reference to a check welfare.  Upon arrival the reporting party stated she had been unable to make contact with the owner of the residence for some time and she was worried.  Deputies made entry to the residence and located a deceased 54 year old female.  The investigation is ongoing.

On May 11, 2019 at approximately 11:12 p.m., Deputy Darrell Waddleton and Deputy Roy Biter were dispatched to the 2900 block of Sisk Road in reference to a burglary.  Upon arrival, the reporting party stated a white Anatolian Sheppard dog, valued at approximately $100, was removed from the property.  A criminal report was taken and the investigation is ongoing.

On May 12, 2019 at approximately 7:53 p.m., Deputy Hunter Deason conducted a traffic stop in the area of Kell East and Brook Avenue.  The 23 year old passenger was arrested and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  He is being charged with Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and an outstanding Wichita County Warrant for Possession of Marijuana in a Drug Free Zone.
