On Saturday January 12, at approximately 5:40 am, Deputy Brett Brasher checked on an unoccupied vehicle parked partially on the roadway on Bacon Switch Road near I-44. The vehicle was impounded.

On Saturday January 12, at approximately 1:23 pm, Deputy Matthew Schenck responded to the 7500 block of Seymour Hwy. in reference to a possible Forgery. Upon arrival, the reporting person reported that a subject attempted to cash a forged check in the amount of $325.66. The Reporting Person reported that a subject that was currently in the business was also attempting to cash a suspicious check in the amount of $2,900.00. The check was linked to a scam.

On Saturday January 12, at approximately 5:33 pm, Deputy James Vandygriff and Deputy Hunter McCain responded to the 5100 block of Hammon Road in reference to Illegal Dumping. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) dumped a load of trash near his driveway. On Sunday January 13, at approximately 5:23 pm, Deputy J.J. Hernandez made a traffic stop at the intersection of F.M. 369 and Business 287 J. The 32-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with three outstanding warrants for Capias Pro Fine-Expired Motor Vehicle Registration, No Current Vaccination for Animal and Fail to Obtain Dog/Cat City License.

On Sunday January 13, at approximately 11:58 pm, Deputy Roy Biter made a traffic stop at the intersection of Professional and S.H. 79. The 25-year female driver was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 3 under 28 grams.
