On August 24, 2018 at approximately 7:59 p.m., Deputy Ivan Galarza conducted a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Borton. The 27 year old driver was placed under arrest for an outstanding Wichita County warrant for Possession of Marijuana under 2oz and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.

On August 27, 2018 at approximately 5:05 p.m., Deputy Hunter Deason was dispatched to the 1100 block of Spring Lake Road in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, the reporting party stated a silver engagement ring valued at approximately $600.00 was missing from the property. A report was taken and the investigation is ongoing.

On August 27, 2018 at approximately 9:47 p.m., Deputy Hunter Deason was dispatched to the 1400 block of Johnson Road in reference to a subject possibly involved in a burglary of a habitation. Upon arrival, deputies located a 37 year old male with property matching that missing from a residence in the 1100 block of Lentz Road. The male subject was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and is being charged with Burglary of a Habitation a 2nd degree felony.

On August 27, 2018 at approximately 8:49 p.m., Deputy Hunter Deason conducted a traffic stop in the 2500 Old Iowa Park Road. The 26 year old driver did not have a valid driver’s license and was unable to provide proof of insurance for the vehicle. The vehicle was impounded and the driver was released from the scene.
