On Tuesday May 15, at approximately 6:06 pm, Deputy Christopher Bashford responded to the 2200 block of Polk in reference to a Harassment Report. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that she received a harassing text from a subject.

On Tuesday May 15, at approximately 1:00 pm, Corporal Jeff Penney, Deputy Justin Mitchell and Deputy Amanda Price responded to the area of U.S. 287 and Johnson Road to assist the Iowa Park Police Department who was searching for a Theft Suspect. Upon arrival, a Wichita County Sheriff’s Office K-9 was deployed and began tracking the suspect. The 46-year-old male was located in a field hiding behind a brush pile. He was turned over to the Iowa Park Police Department.

On Tuesday May 15, at approximately 10:58 pm, Deputy Ivan Galarza made a traffic stop at the intersection of Seymour Hwy. and Baylor. The 53-year-old female driver was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
