On Tuesday February 13, at approximately 7:43 pm, Deputy Jason Vandygriff and Deputy Carl Magee responded to the 5000 block of F.M. 2384 in reference to a Burglary of a Habitation. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) entered the property and stole fifteen guns and an X Box 360 Game Set.

On Thursday February 15, at approximately 12:25 am, Sergeant Cole McGarry and Deputy Christopher Bashford responded to the 4300 block of Ashton Road in reference to a Suspicious Vehicle. Upon arrival, they checked on an occupied vehicle. The 18-year-old female driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

CITIZENS ACADEMY IS ABOUT TO START:

The Next Wichita County Sheriff’s Office Citizen’s Academy will start on March 8. This free fourteen week class will give you an insight on your Wichita County Sheriff’s Office. You learn about the different divisions of the Sheriff’s Office, you will get to drive a Sheriff’s Patrol Vehicle, Shoot different weapons that are used by the Sheriff’s Office and so much more.
