On Monday August 7, at approximately 10:00 am, Lieutenant Patrick McFerrin observed a vehicle parked in the 1400 block of Longview that had white shoe polish on it.  Upon talking to the owner of the vehicle, she stated that she paid a subject $90.00 to repair a dent on the vehicle.  The subject put shoe polish over the dent and then left, causing $1,322.06 in damage to the vehicle.

On Tuesday August 8, at approximately 7:45 am, Corporal Josh Brown made a traffic stop at the intersection of Seymour Hwy. and Fairway.  The 50-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 less than one gram.

THE NEXT WICHITA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CITIZEN’S ACADEMY WILL BE STARTING ON SEPTEMBER 7.
