On July 5, 2017, at approximately 4:08 p.m., Sergeant Ralph Burdick conducted a traffic stop in the area of 6th Street and Scott Avenue in Wichita Falls.  The 19 year old male passenger of the vehicle was arrested and transported to the Wichita County Detention Center; he is being charged with Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces.

On July 5, 2017, at approximately 8:20 p.m., Deputy Daniel Jacobson made contact with a pedestrian in 2100 block of Seymour Highway.  The 36 year old male was arrested on outstanding City of Wichita Falls municipal court warrants. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and is also being charged with Possession of Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 less than 1 gram.
