On Monday June 5, at approximately 9:24 pm, Deputy Jason Vandygriff made a traffic stop at the intersection of 7th and Ohio. The 47-year-old male driver was issued citations for no Drivers License and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.
On Tuesday June 6, at approximately 12:07 am, Deputy Josh McGuinn responded to the 500 block of Scott to assist Lieutenant Patrick McFerrin with a traffic stop. The 34-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 under one gram, Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 3 less than 28 grams and Possession of a Dangerous Drug.
