FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On Wednesday October 15, at approximately 5:00 pm, Deputy Sergeant Sergio Teruel, Deputy Chris Barnett and Deputy John Warner responded to the 1500 block of Maurine to execute an arrest warrant. Upon arrival, the 23-year-old male was placed under arrest. A 29-year-old female was also placed under arrest. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. The male was charged with an outstanding warrant for Parole Violation. The female was charged with Hindering Apprehension.
On Thursday October 16, at approximately 2:03 am, Lieutenant Patrick McFerrin made a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Kell Blvd. East. The 21-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated-Enhanced, Resisting Arrest, Search or Transportation and Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon.
