On Tuesday February 21, at approximately 10:29 pm, Deputy Amanda Price made a traffic stop at the intersection of Seymour and Sunset.  The 47-year-old female driver was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While License Invalid.

On Wednesday February 22, at approximately 9:20 am, Deputy Roy Biter and Deputy Jason Vandygriff took a theft report that occurred in the 2300 block of Morgan Road.  The Reporting Person reported that a subject pulled up in a vehicle in front of her residence and stole their orange and black Calico cat valued at $1,500.00.

On Thursday February 23, at approximately 12:22 am, Corporal Ralph Burdick made a traffic stop at the intersection of North Brook and North 5th Street.  The 23-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated-Enhanced.

On Thursday February 23, at approximately 1:16 am, Deputy Greg Wilson made a traffic stop in the 1700 block of 8th Street.  The 26-year-old male driver fled the scene on foot and was arrested a short time later.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While License Invalid, Possession of Marijuana under two ounces and Evading Arrest/Detention.

THE NEXT WICHITA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CITIZENS ACADEMY WILL START ON THURSDAY MARCH 2.
