On Thursday January 19, at approximately 1:32 pm, Deputy Gabriel Villarreal made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 and Midway Church Road. The 32-year-old male driver and a 59-year-old male passenger were placed under arrest. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and were charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 2, Possession of Marijuana over five pounds under fifty pounds and Money Laundering over $2,500.00 under $30,000.00. 29 pounds of marijuana, 572 grams of hash and $3,513.00 in currency was seized.
On Thursday January 19, at approximately 12:54 am, Deputy Cole McGarry made a traffic stop at the intersection of Ave F and Fillmore. The 27-year-old female driver was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with three outstanding warrants for two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 3 under 28 grams and Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 under one gram.
On Thursday January 19, at approximately 9:30 pm, Corporal Ralph Burdick observed a suspicious vehicle in the 1100 block of Central Frwy. The vehicle was found to have been reported stolen. The vehicle was released to the owner upon his arrival.
On Thursday January 19, at approximately 10:12 am, Deputy Jeff Lee responded to the 1400 block of F.M. 368 South in reference to a Criminal Mischief. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a subject had damaged the rear quarter panel of his vehicle causing $1,500.00 in damage.
On Friday January 20, at approximately 2:05 am, Deputy Amanda Price made a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Southwest Parkway. The 19-year-old female driver was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
On Friday January 20, at approximately 12:12 am, Deputy Matthew Schenck made a traffic stop in the 3100 block of Kell East. The 37-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated 2nd Offense.
On Friday January 20, at approximately 10:27 pm, Deputy Josh McGuinn made a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Roanoke. The 23-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over one gram under four grams.
