On Wednesday December 7, at approximately 12:39 pm, Deputy Justin Mitchell made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 and Johnson Road. The 49-year-old male was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana over five pounds under fifty pounds. 37 pounds of Marijuana was seized.
Also, on Wednesday December 7, at approximately 4:18 pm, Deputy Justin Mitchell made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 and Business U.S. 287. The 20-year-old male driver and two 20-year-old male passengers were placed under arrest. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and were charged with Money Laundering over $2,500.00 under $30,000.00 and Possession of Marijuana under two ounces. $29,571.00 in currency and four grams of Marijuana was seized.
