On Monday December 5, at approximately 10:41 pm, Deputy Amanda Price attempted to stop a vehicle at the intersection of Brown and Ave K. The vehicle was finally stopped at the intersection of Ave K and Taft, at which time the male driver and a male passenger fled the scene on foot.
On Monday December 5, at approximately 1:15 pm, Deputy John Glaze made an arrest at 600 Scott. The 24-year-old female was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 under one gram and an outstanding warrant for Attorney off Bond-Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 3 under 28 grams.
On Tuesday December 6, at approximately 9:07 am, Deputy J.T. Mitchell observed a deer wrapped in a fence on F.M. 1108 just west of F.M. 2846. The deer had to be terminated after Deputies were unable to free it from the fence.
On Tuesday December 6, at approximately 11:06 am, Lieutenant Patrick McFerrin, Deputy Greg Wilson and Deputy Scott Chapel responded to the 1300 block of Montgomery to serve a mental health warrant. Upon arrival, the 28-year-old male was placed under arrest. He was transported to the North Texas State Hospital and was admitted.
