On Monday September 12, at approximately 2:40 pm, Deputy Roy Biter responded to the 2300 block of Holman Road in reference to a Fraud. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) opened two credit card accounts using her identifying information and charged $87,000.00 on the cards.
On Tuesday September 13, at approximately 3:45 pm, Deputy Daniel Jacobson responded to the 2000 block of U.S. 287 in reference to a Forgery. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) forged two checks on her deceased father’s checking account.
On Tuesday September 13, at approximately 3:20 pm, Deputy Sonja Arias placed a 38-year-old male under arrest in the 900 block of 7th. He was escorted to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Unlawful Carrying of Weapons.
On Wednesday September 14, at approximately 12:26 am, Deputy Cole McGarry made a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Polk. A 28-year-old male passenger was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Failure to Identify/Fugitive from Justice and an outstanding warrant for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.
