On Tuesday August 23, at approximately 6:30 pm, Deputy Roy Biter and Deputy Daniel Jacobson responded to the 1600 block of 11th Street in reference to an Assault. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that she was assaulted by a family member in the 1400 block of Pecanway.
On Tuesday August 23, at approximately 10:23 am, a Wichita County Highway Interdiction Deputy made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 and F.M. 2384. The 37-year-old male driver, a 22-year-old male passenger, a 38-year-old male passenger and a 29-year-old male passenger were placed under arrest. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 over 400 grams and Possession of Marijuana over five pounds under fifty pounds. Six pounds of high grade Marijuana, 655 grams of Hashish and $945.00 in currency was seized.
On Wednesday August 24, at approximately 5:05 am, Corporal Jeff Penney made a traffic stop in the 900 block of Airport Drive. The 23-year-old female driver was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Failure to Identify and an outstanding warrant for Bond Forfeiture-Theft over $50.00 under $500.00.
On Wednesday August 24, at approximately 1:45 am, Sergeant Mark Whipple made a traffic stop in the 500 block of Fillmore. The 52-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated 2nd Offense and Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 3 less than 28 grams.
