The next Wichita County Sheriff’s Office Citizen’s Academy will start on September 3, 2014.
This fourteen week academy meets every Thursday night from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. You will have an opportunity to learn all about your Sheriff’s Office. You will get to go to the firing range and fire the weapons that the Sheriff’s Office uses, drive a patrol vehicle, conduct a building search as well as tour the jails, courthouse and many other facilities.
The class is free of charge and is limited to the first 25 applicants.
