On Monday June 6, at approximately 2:05 pm, Lieutenant William Rutledge made a traffic stop at the intersection of I-44 and Daniels Road. The 49-year-old female driver and a 54-year-old male passenger were placed under arrest. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. The driver was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 under one gram and was issued a citation for No Drivers License. The passenger was charged with an outstanding warrant for Attorney off Bond-Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1.
On Tuesday June 7, at approximately 6:23 am, Lieutenant Patrick McFerrin responded to the 1600 block of Vaughn Road in reference to a Theft. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) stole a green 1996 Chevrolet S-10 pickup valued at $1,300.00 from her driveway.
