On Saturday May 28, at approximately 4:39 am, Deputy Brandon Mason responded to the 1600 block of 11th Street to assist a Department of Public Safety Trooper with a combative prisoner.  The 45-year-old male was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.

On Saturday May 28, at approximately 12:05 am, Deputy David Stout made a traffic stop in the 5200 block of Tower.  The 39-year-old male driver was barred from the property.

On Saturday May 28, at approximately 12:35 am, Corporal Jeff Penney and Deputy Troy Glover stopped an individual walking at the intersection of North 7th and North Broadway.  The 18-year-old male was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Unlawful Carry of a Weapon and Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.

On Saturday May 28, at approximately 1:20 am, Deputy Brandon Mason and Deputy Cole McGarry responded to the 400 block of Dove Lane in reference to a possible gun shot.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) fired a shot at his dog grazing the dog’s leg.

On Saturday May 28, at approximately 10:44 am, Deputy Brett Brasher attempted to stop a vehicle at the intersection of Kemp and Ave. L.  The vehicle was finally stopped went it left the roadway and struck a building in the 2800 block of Kell Blvd. West.  The driver then fled the scene.  The 30-year-old male driver was located a short time later in the 3100 block of Ave. R.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Evading Arrest or Detention with a Motor Vehicle-Enhanced, Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over four grams under two hundred gram and an outstanding warrant for Parole Violation.

On Saturday May 28, at approximately 5:12 pm, Corporal Ralph Burdick and Deputy Amanda Price made a traffic stop at the intersection of Denver and Wilson.  The vehicle was impounded due to the driver not having insurance on the vehicle.

On Saturday May 28, at approximately 10:44 am, Deputy Brett Brasher made a traffic stop at the intersection of Blonde and Holliday.  The 51-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with three outstanding warrants for Capias Pro Fine-Expired Operators License, Capias Pro Fine-Expired Motor Vehicle Registration and Capias Pro Fine-Outdoor Storage Violation.

On Saturday May 28, at approximately 2:55 pm, Deputy Brian Koschak responded to the 1500 block of Rathgeber Road in reference to a Credit/Debit Card Abuse.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) made several unauthorized charges on her Credit/Debit Card.

On Sunday May 29, at approximately 1:01 am, Sergeant Mark Whipple, Deputy Cole McGarry and Deputy Brandon Mason responded to the 8100 block of Headquarters Road in reference to a Disturbance.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that two persons had been assaulted by two subjects.

On Sunday May 29, at approximately 2:52 am, Sergeant Mark Whipple made a traffic stop at the intersection of Headquarters Road and Kamay Road.  The 46-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

On Sunday May 29, at approximately 11:11 am, Corporal Josh Brown and Deputy Jeff Lee responded to 2504 Arena Road in reference to a Deceased Person.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a deceased male was found near the open dance area of the Rodeo Grounds.  It was later learned that the 26-year-old male have been involved in an accident on 5-28-16 at approximately 12:00 am.  His vehicle had left the roadway and struck a tree.  He had left the scene of the accident prior to officer’s arrival.  The male was transported to Southwest Institute of Forensic Science in Dallas for an autopsy.

On Sunday May 29, at approximately 9:05 pm, Sergeant Lee Crossman and Deputy Amanda Price made a traffic stop at the intersection of 9th and Brook.  The 39-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While License Invalid-Enhanced.
