On Saturday April 23, at approximately 4:30 pm, a Wichita County K-9 Highway Interdiction Deputy made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 and S.H. 25.  The 30-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  2.5 pounds of heroin valued at $170,000.00 was seized.  The male was released to the custody of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency for further investigation.

On Wednesday April 27, at approximately 9:19 pm, Deputy Roy Biter made a traffic top at the intersection of Seymour Hwy. and Sunset.  The 24-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with three outstanding warrants for two counts of Capias Pro Fine-No Drivers License and Violation of Probation-Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over one gram under four grams.

On Thursday April 28, at approximately 4:05 am, Corporal Jeff Penney and Deputy Amanda Price responded to 10th and Brook to assist Sergeant Mark Whipple with a Traffic Stop.  Upon arrival, a 31-year-old male was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with three outstanding warrants for Violation of Probation-Criminal Trespass and two counts of Violation of Probation-Criminal Mischief over $500.00 under $1,500.00.

On Thursday April 28, at approximately 2:08 pm, Lieutenant Carl Magee, Sergeant Sergio Teruel, Deputy Kristian Valdez, Deputy Josh McGuinn and Deputy Matthew Schenck responded to the 2400 block of Talunar to serve an arrest warrant.  Upon arrival, a 33-year-old male and a 36-year-old male were placed under arrest.  A stolen Harley Davidson Motorcycle was recovered at the residence.  A 41-year-old male was arrested a short time later on Seymour Hwy. near Fillmore.  The subjects were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  The 41-year-old male was charged with an outstanding warrant for Parole Violation-Theft over $2,500.00 under $30,000.00.  The 33-year-old was charged with an outstanding warrant for Parole Violation-Bond Forfeiture-Prohibited Weapon.  The 36-year-old male was charged with two outstanding warrants for Speeding and No Drivers License.

On Thursday April 28, at approximately 8:25 am, Deputy Cole McGarry responded to the 5000 block of Seymour Hwy. in reference to a Burglary of a Habitation.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) broke into an unoccupied residence and stole a gold watch, assorted silverware and an antique clock.

On Thursday April 28, at approximately 11:24 am, Deputy Kristian Valdez and Deputy Matthew Schenck responded to the 1600 block of Clover in reference to a Theft.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that she gave an individual $600.00 for a home repair and has not been able to contact the person since.

On Friday April 29, at approximately 12:05 am, Corporal Jeff Penney responded to the 1200 block of Bandera to assist Lieutenant Patrick McFerrin with a traffic stop.  Upon arrival, the 27-year-old female driver was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Reckless Driving.
