On Friday April 15, at approximately 8:17 am, Deputy Kristian Valdez and Deputy Amanda Price responded to the 1100 block of S.H. Hwy. 79 North in reference to an Animal Complaint.  Upon arrival, an injured dog was found lying next to the roadway.  Animal Control was contacted and the dog was impounded.

On Friday April 15, at approximately 12:58 pm, Sergeant Sergio Teruel and Deputy Matthew Schenck responded to the 1800 block of F.M. 367 East in reference to a Burglary of a Building.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) entered a building and stole a wide view welding helmet valued at $200.00.

On Saturday April 16, at approximately 6:28 pm, Corporal Ralph Burdick made a traffic stop in the 1200 block of North Rosewood.  The 21-year-old female driver was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with five outstanding warrants for two counts of Expired Registration, two counts of No Drivers License and Speeding.

On Saturday April 16, at approximately 10:49 am, Sergeant Sergio Teruel and Deputy Matthew Schenck checked on two subjects standing next to an occupied vehicle in the 1900 block of 8th Street.  A 28-year-old male and an 18-year-old female were placed under arrest.  They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  The male was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over one gram under four grams and three outstanding warrants for Expired Vehicle Registration, Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  The female was charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over four grams under 200 grams.

On Saturday April 16, at approximately 1:00 am, Deputy Greg Wilson made a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Holliday.  The 25-year-old male driver and a 20-year-old female passenger were placed under arrest.  They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  The male was charged with Driving While Intoxicated with open container and Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.  The Female was charged with Public Intoxication, Possession of Marijuana under two ounces and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Sunday April 17, at approximately 7:21 pm, Deputy Josh McGuinn and Deputy Roy Biter responded to the 500 block of Wellington Lane in reference to a Runaway.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that her juvenile daughter had run away from the residence.

On Sunday April 17, at approximately 1:42 pm, Corporal Josh Brown and Deputy J.T. Glover checked on an occupied vehicle in the 2000 block of Grant.  The 31-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of a Dangerous Drug and two outstanding warrants for Display Expired Vehicle Registration and Registration Violation.

On Sunday April 17, at approximately 10:57 pm, Wichita County Deputies were advised by the Texas Department of Public Safety that they were pursuing a blue and gold Ford Expedition on U.S. 287 and that they were currently in Clay County.  Deputies began setting up near the county line in case the pursuit came into Wichita County.  Deputies were advised that the vehicle had struck a Bowie Texas Police Unit earlier on this date.  The vehicle entered Wichita County and exited onto U.S. 287 Business.  A spike strip was deployed and the vehicles tires were damaged.  The vehicle continued travelling on U.S. 287 Business, Scott Street and then collided with a sign post at Iowa Park Road and Central Frwy.  The juvenile driver fled the scene on foot.  The juvenile female was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Juvenile Detention Center.  She was reported as a missing person/juvenile runaway by the Belmont County Ohio Sheriff’s Office.  The juvenile male was arrested at approximately 8:46 am on 4-18-16 at the Boys and Girls Club located at 1318 6th Street.  He was reported missing from St. Clairsville, Belmont County Ohio.
