On Friday June 13, at approximately 1:35 am, Deputy Chris Barnett responded to the intersection of Thaten and Eldrige to assist Lieutenant Patrick McFerrin on a traffic stop.  The 34-year-old female driver was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

 

On Friday June 13, at approximately 11:02 pm, Deputy John Warner made a traffic stop in the 3800 block of Kemp Blvd.  The 26-year-old male driver and a 25-year-old male passenger were placed under arrest.  They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  The driver was charged with two outstanding warrants for Expired Inspection Sticker and Fail to Maintain Financial Responsibility.  The passenger was charged with Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.

 

On Saturday June 14, at approximately 1:07 pm, Captain Donny Johns and Deputy John Glaze responded to the 600 block of West Summit in Electra in reference to a Burglary of a Habitation.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) kicked open a door to the residence.

 

On Saturday June 14, at approximately 9:41 am, Deputy Kristian Valdez responded to Hwy. 25 South and Jennings Road in reference to a Theft.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) entered the oil lease and stole 500 to 1000 feet of Phase 3 Wire valued at $1,000.00 and 150 feet of Phase 3 Wire valued at $150.00.

 

On Saturday June 14, at approximately 4:32 pm, Deputy Tim Putney made a traffic stop in the 1100 block of 15th Street.  The 38-year-old male driver took off running from the vehicle.  A short time later the male walked back up to the vehicle.  He was placed under arrest along with a 23-year-old male passenger.  They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  The driver was charged with Evading Arrest.  The passenger was charged with an outstanding warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1.

 

 

On Saturday June 14, at approximately 12:43 pm, Corporal Mark Whipple and Deputy Patrick Bradford responded to the 1100 block of Springlake Road in reference to a suicidal person.  Upon arrival, the 37-year-old male was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the North Texas State Hospital and was admitted under a Peace Officers Application for Emergency Detention.

 

On Sunday June 15, at approximately 2:35 am, Corporal Josh Brown responded to the 1600 block of Kell to assist Deputy John Warner on a traffic stop.  The 28-year-old male driver, a 27-year-old female passenger and 28-year-old male passenger were placed under arrest.  They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  The driver was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 3 under 28 grams and Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.  The female passenger was charged with Public Intoxication.  The male passenger was charged with Interference with Public Duties, Resisting Search and Seizure and Public Intoxication.

 

On Sunday June 15, at approximately 7:25 pm, Corporal Carl Magee and Deputy Todd Kinsey responded to the 500 block of Huntington Lane in reference to Telephone Harassment.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that he has been receiving harassing telephone calls on his cellular telephone.
