On December 19, 2015, at approximately 10:13 a.m., Corporal Josh Brown conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of 8th Street. A 20 year old male was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 Under 1 gram in a Drug Free Zone, Possession of a Dangerous Drug, and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, then transported to Wichita County Jail.
On December 19, 2015, at approximately 10:13 a.m., Corporal Ralph Burdick and Deputy JT Mitchell responded to the 400 block of Mesa in reference to a structure fire. An unoccupied residence was found to be on fire. Cameron Gardens and Wichita East Volunteer Fire Departments extinguished the fire and nobody was injured.
On December 19, 2015, at approximately 10:51 p.m., Sergeant Mark Whipple conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Brook Street and Kell Avenue. A 31 year old male was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to Wichita County Jail.
On December 19, 2015, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Deputy Chris Barnett conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Central Freeway and Old Iowa Park Road. A 29 year old male was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Over 5 pounds but Under 50 pounds and transported to Wichita County Jail. 17.6 pounds of marijuana and $2000 dollars were seized at the scene.
On December 20, 2015, at approximately 9:25 a.m., Corporal Josh Brown conducted a traffic stop in the 2600 block of Kemp. An 18 year old male was arrested for Possession of Dangerous Drug and transported to the Wichita County Jail.
On December 20, 2015, at approximately 10:54 a.m., Deputy Josh McGuinn and Deputy Patrick Bradford conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Grace Street. A 50 year old female was arrested for Fail to ID/Giving False Name and transported to the Wichita County Jail.
On December 20, 2015, at approximately 12:58 p.m., Deputy Lance Brumley responded to the 9400 block of Seymour Hwy in reference to a deceased person. A 78 year old male was under Hospice care at the time of the death.
On December 21, 2015, at approximately 5:20 p.m., Sergeant Lee Crossman responded to the 4700 block of Business 287 in reference to an abandoned trailer on the property. An owner for the trailer was unable to be located and it was impounded.
On December 21, 2015, at approximately 6:55 p.m., Deputy Brian Koschak and Deputy Roy Biter responded to the 7400 block of Central Freeway in reference to a burglary of a vehicle. The reporting party stated approximately 120 gallons of diesel fuel had been stolen from his vehicle and another piece of equipment.
On December 21, 2015, at approximately 8:34 p.m., Deputy Brian Koschak and Deputy Roy Biter responded to the 2100 block of Huntington in reference to a runaway child. The juvenile female was located and placed under arrest for Assault Family Violence, and then transported to Juvenile Confinement.
On December 22, 2015, at approximately 5:40 p.m., members of the WCSO Special Response Team executed an arrest warrant in the 300 block of Buckner Street in Burkburnett. A 49 year old male was arrested for Terroristic Threat and transported to Wichita County Jail.
On December 22, 2015, at approximately 8:43 p.m., Corporal Jeff Penney and Deputy Cole McGarry responded to the 6900 block of Seymour Hwy in reference to an assault. A 33 year old male was arrested for Assault Family Violence and transported to the Wichita County Jail.
On December 23, 2015, at approximately 1:56 p.m., Deputy Justin Mitchell conducted a traffic stop on US 287 at Johnston Road. A citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia was issued to a 61 year old male.
On December 23, 2015, at approximately 12:25 a.m., Deputy Paul Casillas and Sergeant Mark Whipple conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Avenue E and Taylor Street. A 23 year old male was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Under 2 ounces, an outstanding Wichita County warrant for Possession of Dangerous Drug, and then was transported to Wichita County Jail.
On December 24, 2015, at approximately 9:56 a.m., Deputy Patrick Bradford and Deputy Josh McGuinn responded to the 7800 block of Carraige Lane in reference to check welfare. A 19 year old male was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Under 2 ounces and transported to Wichita County Jail.
