On Wednesday December 9, at approximately 6:19 pm, Corporal Jeff Penney responded to the 5900 block of FM 1739 in reference to a possible theft. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that he found three subjects on his hunting lease and it was believed that they were going to steal a deer feeder.
On Wednesday December 9, at approximately 5:35 pm, Deputy Roy Biter and Deputy J.T. Mitchell responded to the 4300 block of Kemp Blvd. to assist Wichita County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Deputies with a traffic stop. The 24-year-old male driver and a 30-year-old female were placed under arrest. They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center. The driver was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. The passenger was charged with an outstanding warrant for Theft of a Firearm. The vehicle was found to have been reported stolen.
On Wednesday December 9, at approximately 12:35 am, Deputy Patrick Bradford and Deputy Joshua McGuinn responded to 610 Holliday in reference to a Forgery. Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) attempted to make a purchase using her credit card.
On Thursday December 10, at approximately 2:45 am, Lieutenant Carl Magee and Sergeant Mark Whipple responded to the 600 block of Coleman Park Road in reference to a Check Welfare. Upon arrival, a 33-year-old female was found to have taken an overdose of prescription medication. She was transported to United Regional Health Care by American Medical Response. A Peace Officers Application for Emergency Detention was completed.
On Thursday December 10, at approximately 1:48 am, Deputy Brandon Mason made a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Kinley. The 44-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While License Invalid.
