On Tuesday November 24, at approximately 4:25 pm, Deputy Justin Mitchell made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 and F.M 1739. $120,000.00 in currency was seized after a K-9 alerted on the odor of narcotics on the currency.
On Tuesday November 24, at approximately 1:39 am, Sergeant Mark Whipple made a traffic stop on Kell East just west of Kemp Blvd. The 43-year-old male driver was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with two outstanding warrants for Expired Operators License and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.
