On Tuesday November 24, at approximately 6:10 am, Deputy Greg Wilson observed a female operating a red Kawasaki Brute 300 All-Terrain Vehicle travelling east on Hampton Road.  The vehicle turned into a private driveway in the 1300 block of Hwy. 79 north.  A check of the vehicle revealed that it had been stolen on during a burglary of a habitation that occurred on November 23 on Andy Kenyon Road.  Patrol Deputies and Deputies from the Criminal Investigation Section began following leads which lead to the recovery of three other stolen all-terrain vehicles and a single axel flatbed trailer that was also stolen during the burglary.

The 32-year-old female was placed under arrest and was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center where she was charged with theft over $2,500.00 under $29,999.99.  Investigators are currently interviewing several other persons of interest that may have been involved in the burglary.

At this time, $10,500.00 in stolen property has been recovered.
