On Thursday October 1, at approximately 3:28 pm, Deputy Justin Mitchell made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 and F.M. 1739.  The 30-year-old male driver and a 40-year-old male passenger were placed under arrest.  They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and were charged with Possession of Marijuana over five pounds under 50 pounds.  Eleven pounds of marijuana, a handgun and $1,300.00 in currency was seized.

On Friday October 2, at approximately 10:14 pm, Deputy Chris Barnett made a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Maurine.  The 45-year-old female driver and a 49-year-old female passenger were placed under arrest.  They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 over four grams under 400 hundred grams.

On Friday October 2, at approximately 5:40 pm, Corporal Jeff Penney and Deputy Josh McGuinn responded to 900 7th Street in reference to a Theft.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) stole a wallet from her purse which was in a vehicle that was parked in the 2600 block of River Road.

On Friday October 2, at approximately 8:15 pm, Sergeant Lee Crossman responded to the 400 block of Bailey in reference to a Theft.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) stole his 1998 Lincoln Town Car from a parking lot in the 7400 block of Central Frwy.

On Saturday October 3, at approximately 4:25 pm, Deputy Roy Biter and Cole McGarry responded to the 3400 block of F.M. 369 in reference to an Animal Complaint.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that three dead cows were observed on the property.  The owner of the property was contacted and it was revealed that the cows were sick.

 On Saturday October 3, at approximately 9:00 am, Deputy Lance Brumley responded to the 2100 block of River Road in reference to a Criminal Mischief.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) damaged a 100 foot section of chain link fencing on the property.

On Saturday October 3, at approximately 6:21 pm, Deputy Cole McGarry made a traffic stop in the 1800 block of East Front in Electra.  The vehicle was found to have been stolen out of Austin Texas.  The vehicle was impounded.  The 17-year-old male driver was released pending further investigation.

On Saturday October 3, at approximately 4:50 pm, Deputy Kristian Valdez received found property from a subject in 900 block of 7th Street.  The Reporting Person reported that he found a Wichita County Parole ankle monitor while in Lucy Park.

On Sunday October 4, at approximately 10:58 am, Deputy Patrick Bradford and Deputy Christopher Salas responded to the 5500 block of Riley Road in reference to a Criminal Mischief.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) broke out the driver’s side window, broke off the driver’s side mirror, and damaged the front windshield on her vehicle.

On Sunday October 4, at approximately 3:54 am, Deputy Greg Wilson made a traffic stop in the 3200 block of Martin.  The 23-year-old female driver was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated-2nd Offense with open container.

On Sunday October 4, at approximately 6:56 pm, Deputy Chris Barnett made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 287 and F.M. 368.  The 23-year-old female driver was issued a citation for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.  The 22-year-old male passenger was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.

On Sunday October 4, at approximately 12:02 am, Deputy David Stout made a traffic stop in the 600 block of Polk.  The 36-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over one gram and six outstanding warrants for Expired License, two counts of Speeding, Fail to Maintain Financial Responsibility, Driving While License Invalid and Expired License.

On Monday October 5, at approximately 10:00 am, Corporal Josh Brown took a Credit/Debit Card Abuse Report in the 900 block of 7th Street.  The Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) made two unauthorized purchases on his bank card in the amount of $1312.92.
