Daily Crime Brief, January 24, 2020

On Tuesday January 21, at approximately 4:01 pm, Corporal Kristian Valdez and Deputy Matthew Schenck responded to the 1900 block of Peterson Road South in reference to a vehicle fire.  Upon arrival, a truck tractor was found on fire.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.

On Wednesday January 22, at approximately 9:35 am, Deputy Brien Conner responded to 900 7th Street in reference to a Credit/Debit Card Abuse.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) made an unauthorized purchase in the amount of $804.50 on her bank account.

Daily Crime Brief, January 13, 2020

On Saturday January 11, at approximately 2:58 pm, Corporal Kristian Valdez, Deputy Brett Brasher and Deputy Matthew Schenck responded to the 1100 block of Business 287 near Bell Road in reference to a train accident.  Upon arrival, it was revealed that a 23-year-old male had been struck by a train.

On Saturday January 11, at approximately 2:37 pm, Deputy Amanda Ward made a traffic stop in the 500 block of Scott on a vehicle that was a suspect in a Theft.  The 19-year-old female driver was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with an outstanding warrant.

On Saturday January 11, at approximately 2:26 pm, Deputy Matthew Schenck and Deputy Brett Brasher were waved down by a subject in the 3200 block of Seymour Hwy.  The Reporting Person reported that a subject had entered her residence and then stole an I Phone 6s by force.

On Sunday January 12, at approximately 11:51 pm, Deputy Hunter McCain made a traffic stop in the 4400 block of Cedar Elm.  The 20-year-old female driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Sunday January 12, at approximately 9:13 pm, Deputy Aaron Perkins made a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Sheppard Access.  A 20-year-old female passenger was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Sunday January 12, at approximately 11:30 pm, Deputy Aaron Perkins made a traffic stop in the 4600 block of Barnett Road.  The 32-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with an outstanding warrant for Bond Forfeiture-Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.

On Sunday January 12, at approximately 1:00 pm, Deputy Matthew Schenck made a traffic stop on S.H. 79.  The 23-year-old male driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Sunday January 12, at approximately 2:42 am, Deputy Hunter Deason responded to the 2500 block of F.M. 369 South in reference to a Suspicious Vehicle.  Upon arrival, the 31-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with an outstanding warrant for Civil Capias-Child Support.

On Wednesday January 8, at approximately 8:49 pm, Corporal Jason Vandygriff and Deputy Raven Newport responded to the 3400 block of Clover Road in reference to a Forgery.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a suspicious check had been deposited into her bank account.

On Thursday January 9, at approximately 9:30 am, Deputy Roy Biter made a traffic stop at the intersection of Taylor and Ave E.  35-year-old male driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
