Daily Crime Brief, November 18, 2019

On Friday November 15, at approximately 11:27 am, Deputy Eric Wisch responded to 900 7th in reference to an Identity Theft.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) used her identifying information to open up a fraudulent account to obtain services.

On Saturday November 16, at approximately 4:55 pm, Deputy Matthew Schenck made a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Sheppard Access Road.  The 66-year-old male driver was issued a citation for expired registration.  The vehicle was impounded.

On Sunday November 17, at approximately 11:11 pm, Deputy Hunter McCain made a traffic stop at the intersection of Southwest Parkway and Maplewood.  The 19-year-old male driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Sunday November 17, at approximately 9:43 pm, Deputy J.J. Hernandez made a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Harrison.  The 18-year-old male driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Monday November 18, at approximately 2:04 am, Deputy Aaron Perkins assisted Sergeant Jeff Lee on a traffic stop on McNiel near the intersection of Seymour Hwy.  The 23-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

On Monday November 18, at approximately 2:04 am, Sergeant Jeff Lee made a traffic stop at the intersection of 9th and Baylor.  The 28-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 under one gram and an outstanding warrant for Surety off Bond-Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 3 under 28 grams.

On Wednesday November 13, at approximately 5:42 pm, Deputy Brett Brasher responded to the 2200 block of Brogden Road in reference to a Theft.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a subject stole his dog.  Deputies responded to the 3800 block of F.M. 367 in reference to the Theft.  Upon arrival, the stolen dog was recovered.

On Wednesday November 13, at approximately 9:35 am, Corporal Jeff Penney checked on an occupied vehicle at the intersection of U.S. 287 and F.M. 2384.  The 28-year-old male driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Thursday November 14, at approximately 6:03 pm, Deputy Hunter Deason and James Griffith responded to the 400 block of Mesa in reference to a Check Welfare.

Daily Crime Brief, November 12, 2019

On Saturday November 9, at approximately 9:14 pm, Lieutenant Greg Wilson, Deputy J.J. Hernandez and Deputy Hunter McCain responded to Lake Buffalo in reference to a check welfare.  While in route to the call, they were notified that the person they were checking on was in the 4100 block of Thelma Drive.  Upon arrival, a 23-year-old male was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Terroristic Threat.

On Sunday November 10, at approximately 7:22 am, Corporal Jeff Penny, Corporal Kristian Valdez, Deputy Amanda Ward and Deputy Darrell Waddleton responded to Hy Bridges in reference to a check welfare.  Upon arrival, a 23-year-old female was transported to the Red River Hospital for medical evaluation.

On Sunday November 10, at approximately 5:50 am, Deputy Darrell Waddleton and Deputy Matthew Schenck responded to the 2900 block of Bacon Switch Road in reference to a Burglary of a Building.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) forced open a gate to the property and entered.  The person(s) then entered an unlocked shop.

On Sunday November 10, at approximately 6:01 am, Deputy Amanda Ward checked on an occupied vehicle in the 2800 block of Central Frwy. East.  The 24-year-old female driver was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On Monday November 4, at approximately 7:59 pm, Lieutenant Greg Wilson and Sergeant Jeff Lee responded to area of Business 287J and F.M. 369 in reference to a Forgery that had occurred in the 700 block of West Highway.  The suspect was reported to be travelling in a gold Ford F150 pickup.  The vehicle was stopped at the intersection of Brook and 7th Street.  The 49-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Forgery and an outstanding warrant for Capias Pro Fine-Driving While License Invalid.

On Thursday November 7, at approximately 10:24 am, Deputy Christopher Bashford responded to the 3800 block of F.M. 368 South in reference to a Theft.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that a subject stole a blue 2003 Dodge Ram 1500, an LG cell phone and U.S. Coins.

On Thursday November 7, at approximately 11:36 pm, Deputy James Griffith made a traffic stop in the 5000 block of Professional Drive.  The 21-year-old male driver was issued citations for No Drivers License and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
