Daily Crime Brief, September 30, 2019

On Friday September 27, at approximately 9:18 pm, Deputy Ivan Galarza made a traffic stop at the intersection of Jacksboro and 32nd Street.  A 21-year-old female was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with an outstanding warrant for Theft under $100.00.

On Friday September 27, at approximately 9:15 am, Deputy J.T. Mitchell responded to the 11800 block of Wolfe Road in reference to a Dispute.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) placed poison on the fence line of the property.

On Friday September 27, at approximately 11:18 pm, Deputy Sean Bigham, Deputy Roy Biter and Deputy Aaron Perkins responded to Seymour Hwy. near Parker Ranch Road to assist the Texas Department of Public Safety with a traffic accident.  The 17-year-old male driver was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated.

On Saturday September 28, at approximately 9:18 am, Deputy J.T. Mitchell responded to the 2300 block of F.M. 369 in reference to a Theft.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) entered the property and stole a blue 2010 Cadillac SRX.

On Saturday September 28, at approximately 4:49 pm, Deputy Hunter Deason made a traffic stop at the intersection of 8th and Baylor.  A 41-year-old male was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Theft over $100.00 under $750.00.

On Saturday September 28, at approximately 8:51 am, Deputy Matthew Schenck responded to the 1500 block of F.M. 1740 in reference to Found Property.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that he found a woman’s purse laying in the roadway on North Broadway between North 3rd and North 5th Streets.

On Sunday September 29, at approximately 4:25 pm, Deputy Christopher Bashford made a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 82 and Barnett Road.  A 19-year-old male passenger was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
