Daily Crime Brief, January 19, 2018

On January 17, 2018 at approximately 1:13 p.m., Deputy Daniel Jacobson was dispatched to the 300 block of Eastland Lane in reference to a credit card abuse. Upon arrival, the reporting party stated someone had used her debit card without her authorization and removed approximately $1493 from her account. A Credit/Debit Card Abuse report was taken and the investigation is ongoing.

On January 17, 2018 at approximately 4:41 p.m., Deputy Jason Vandygriff was dispatched to the 100 block of Rathgaber Road in reference to a burglary of a habitation. Upon arrival, the reporting party stated someone had kicked in a door to the residence and removed several items. Several firearms and jewelry items were reported missing. The approximate value of all items taken is approximately $3500. Photos of the scene were taken and the investigation is ongoing.

On January 18, 2018 at approximately 9:29 p.m., Lieutenant Mark Whipple conducted a traffic stop in the area of Kemp Street and Kell Freeway. The 18 year old male driver was given a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and released from the scene.
