Daily Crime Brief, August 17, 2015

On Saturday August 15, at approximately 2:37 am, Deputy Brandon Mason made a traffic stop at the intersection of F.M. 367 and Wellington Lane.  The 26-year-old female driver and a 26-year-old male passenger were placed under arrest.  They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  The driver was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and the passenger was charged with Public Intoxication.

On Saturday August 15, at approximately 12:18 am, Deputy Greg Wilson made a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Kell West.  The 37-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Fail to Drive in Single Marked Lane and Fail to Signal Lane Change.

On Saturday August 15, at approximately 12:21 am, Deputy Todd Kinsey and Deputy Christopher Salas check on two individuals that were occupying a vehicle in front of a closed business in the 3100 block of Seymour Hwy.  The 17-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.

On Saturday August 15, at approximately 9:39 pm, Deputy Kristian Valdez made a traffic stop in the 3600 block of Seymour Hwy.  The 22-year-old male driver was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Possession of Marijuana under two ounces.

On Saturday August 15, at approximately 3:56 pm, Deputy Brett Brasher responded to the Iowa Park Police Department in reference to a Forgery.  Upon arrival, the Reporting Person reported that an unknown person(s) forged three checks to his account in the amount of $417.80.

On Sunday August 16, at approximately 9:18 am, Deputy Lance Brumley and Deputy John Warner responded to the 1400 block of 35th Street to serve an arrest warrant.  Upon arrival, a 31-year-old male and a 30-year-old male were placed under arrest.  They were transported to the Wichita County Detention Center.  The 31-year-old male was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over four grams under 200 grams in a Drug Free Zone and two outstanding warrants for Possession/Use/Inhale/Ingest Volatile Chemical and Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 under one gram in a Drug Free Zone.  The 30-year-old male was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 over four grams under 400 grams in a Drug Free Zone, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon and an outstanding warrant for Parole Violation.

On Sunday August 16, at approximately 6:41 am, Deputy Brett Brasher responded to the intersection of River Road and Cameron Lane in reference to a subject in a ditch.  Upon arrival, the 48-year-old male was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Public Intoxication.

On Sunday August 16, at approximately 3:49 am, Deputy Greg Wilson and Deputy Christopher Salas stopped an individual riding a bicycle in the middle of the roadway in the 2400 block of Sheppard Access Road.  The 30-year-old female was placed under arrest.  She was transported to the Wichita County Detention Center and was charged with Public Intoxication.
